# Add a banner image to your cart

You can add a banner image near the top of your cart. Go to **Cart** tab > **Body** > **Banner**, turn on the **Banner** toggle, then click **Upload image**.
A banner is a simple way to show a sale, a new collection, or your brand. Let's add one.
## Add a banner to your cart
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Under **Body**, turn on the **Banner** toggle, then click **Banner**.
4. In the **Image** area, click **Upload image**.
5. Choose a JPEG or PNG file from your computer.
| The recommended size is 800 × 180 px. An image with this shape fits the banner well.
## Change the size and position
In the **Size and position** area, change these options:
* **Width**: Sets the banner's width as a percentage, for example 90%.
* **Height**: Sets the banner's height.
* **Roundness**: Changes how round the corners are, for example 25%.
* **Border**: Adds a border. Use the **−** and **+** buttons to change its width, and choose its color.
## Add a link
1. In the **Link** area, enter the address of the page you want to link to.
2. Optional: Select **Open in new tab** to open the page in a new browser tab.
Shoppers who click the banner go to this page.
## Change the spacing
In the **Spacing** area, use **Top** and **Bottom** to change the space above and below the banner.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. The banner appears near the top of the cart, above the products.
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
