# Choose when, where, and on which devices your cart opens

You can decide when your cart opens, which side it opens on, and which devices show it. Go to **Cart** tab > **Settings**.
Let's make your cart open in the way that suits your store best.
## Choose how your cart behaves
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Click **Settings**.
4. Select or clear these options:
* **Open cart drawer on add to cart**: The cart opens when a shopper adds a product. It's selected by default. Clear it if you don't want the cart to open on its own.
* **Show clear cart button**: Shows a **Clear cart** button, so shoppers can remove every product at once. It's cleared by default.
## Choose where your cart opens
* **Cart position**: Choose **Right** (the default) or **Left**. This is the side of the screen where the cart opens.
* **Content direction**: Choose the direction of the content in your cart. **Based on store** follows your store's setting.
## Choose which devices show your cart
Under **Show on devices**, choose **All devices** (the default), **Desktop**, or **Mobile**.
|| If you choose **Desktop** or **Mobile**, shoppers on the other devices don't see Adoric Cart.
## Check the result
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
Then open your store, add a product to the cart, and check that the cart opens the way you chose.
