Types of Quantity Breaks Campaign

When creating a campaign, you’ll choose from 5 types:

1 - Classic Quantity Break

Simple tiered discount (e.g., buy more, save more)

Example:
Buy 2 → 10% off
Buy 3 → 20% off

Why & When to Use:
Use this when you want to boost your average order value by encouraging customers to buy more units of the same product. Ideal for fast-moving or everyday items where customers can benefit from stocking up.

2 - Buy X Get Y Free

Offer a free product based on quantity purchased

Example:
Buy 2 → Get 1 Free

Why & When to Use:
Perfect for inventory clearance or when you want to create a sense of extra value. Best for low-cost or overstocked items that pair well as a free offer. Encourages volume sales without cutting into cash flow as much.

3 - Quantity Break with Free Gift

Add a free gift when a specific quantity is reached

Example:
Buy 3 → Get a tote bag for free

Why & When to Use:
Great for brand building and loyalty. Choose this when you want to offer a branded or exclusive gift to make the shopping experience more memorable. Works well during promotions or seasonal campaigns.

4 - Quantity Break with Add-ons

Offer optional add-ons for a small upsell

Example:
Buy 2 → Add an optional item at 50% off

Why & When to Use:
Best used for cross-selling or introducing complementary products. This option is ideal when you want to increase cart size without forcing extra purchases. Use it for accessories, consumables, or upgrades.

5 - Quantity Break in Ranges

Set pricing for quantity ranges

Example:
1–3 → 10% discount
4–6 → 20% discount
7+ → 30% discount

Why & When to Use:
Offers more flexibility and appeals to both small and large buyers. Use this when your product fits both retail and wholesale customers, or when you want to gradually reward larger orders.
