# Customize your cart header

The **Header** sits at the top of your cart, with its title and close icon. Go to **Cart** tab > **Body** > **Header** to change it.
A clear header tells shoppers where they are and how many items they have. Let's make it yours.
## Choose text or a logo
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Under **Body**, click **Header**.
4. In the **Header** area, click **Text** or **Logo**.
Then change these options:
* **Align**: Places the header content on the left, in the center, or on the right.
* **Height**: Choose **Tall** or **Slim**.
* **Background**: Adds a background color to the header.
## Write the header text
In the **Text** area, enter your title in the text box, for example "Cart." Use the text toolbar to change the text size and color. You can also make the text bold, italic, or underlined, or add an emoji. Use the **{}** button to add a variable.
| To show the header text in other languages, click **Translate** in the top bar.
## Show the item counter
1. In the **Counter** area, turn on the **Counter** toggle.
2. Under **Value**, choose what the counter shows, for example **Total products in cart**.
3. Optional: Change the counter's **Background**, **Text** color, **Border**, and **Roundness**.
## Change the close icon
In the **Close icon** area, choose the icon's **Color** and **Size**.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. The header shows your title and, if you turned it on, the item counter.
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
