With Shopify’s Discount Combinations update, you can now combine Adoric Bundles product discounts with other types of Shopify discounts. This feature allows for greater flexibility and ensures your customers always get the best deal while adhering to Shopify’s discount policies.

What Are Discount Combinations?

A Discount Combination lets you apply multiple discounts to a single order. Examples include:
10% off a product combined with free shipping.

A product-specific discount paired with a bundle discount.

A coupon code for the entire order with a bundle discount.

A full-store discount combined with a bundle discount.

Adoric calculates and applies the most beneficial discount for the customer while following Shopify’s discount policies.

Key Rules and Limitations

Priority for Best Discounts

When discounts conflict, Shopify applies the one offering the most savings.

Example: If free shipping and a 10% discount are available, Shopify will apply the discount that provides more value.

Single Discount Code Limitation

Shopify allows only one discount code per order unless discount combinations are enabled through Adoric.

Compatibility with Automatic Discounts

Some Adoric discounts are automatically applied without requiring a code from the customer.

Setting Up Discount Combinations

Create Discounts in Shopify

Go to Shopify Admin > Discounts.

Create the individual discounts you want to combine, such as:

Percentage Discounts (e.g., 10% off a product).

Free Shipping Discounts (e.g., free shipping for orders over $50).

Fixed Amount Discounts (e.g., $5 off specific items).

Save your discounts.

Enable Discount Combinations in Adoric

Open the Adoric Settings and navigate to the Discounts section.

Select Product Bundles or Quantity Breaks.

Configure how discounts are combined:

Order discounts

Shipping discounts

Click Save. These settings will apply to all bundle and quantity break campaigns.

Testing Discount Combinations

Choose the campaign type where you want to enable the discount.

Welcome Discounts:
A “Welcome 10% Off” code can be combined with an Adoric promotion like a quantity break offer if both are configured to work together.

Automatic Discounts:
Discounts tied to specific products or thresholds can be included in combinations and applied automatically.
