# Find your way around the cart editor

The cart editor is where you build and change your cart. To open it, go to **Adoric Cart** in your Shopify admin and click your cart in the **Carts** list. Its title bar says "Cart Drawer."
The cart editor has 3 parts: the top bar, the left panel, and the live preview. Let's take a quick tour.
## The top bar
* **Cart name**: The name of your cart. Click it to rename the cart.
* **Cart status**: The switch that turns your cart on or off for shoppers. The cart shows **Active** or **Inactive**.
* **Create A/B test**: Adds the variant tabs **A**, **B**, and **+** next to the cart name.
* **Activate inspector**: Turns on inspect mode. Click any part of the live preview to open its settings.
* **Preview products**: Chooses the products shown in the live preview.
* **Translate**: Opens **Edit translations**, where you edit your cart text in other languages.
* **Market**: Previews your cart for a Shopify Market. It starts on **Shop default**.
* **Discard** and **Save**: Appear when you have unsaved changes. **Save** keeps them. **Discard** removes them.
## The left panel
At the top of the left panel, there are 2 tabs: **Cart** and **Empty cart**. Use the **Cart** tab for the cart with products in it. Use the **Empty cart** tab for the cart shoppers see when it's empty.
The **Cart** tab lists these sections:
* **Style**: The template, colors, fonts, layout, **Build with AI**, and **Custom CSS**.
* **Settings**: When, where, and on which devices your cart opens.
* **Sticky cart**: A floating cart button.
* **Body**: **Header**, **Rewards**, **Announcement**, **Banner**, **Cart items**, **Product upsell**, **Side product upsell**, and **Trust badges**.
* **Footer**: **Shipping protection**, **Order notes**, **Discounts**, **Summary**, **Buttons**, **Accelerated checkout**, and **Payment icons**.
* **Add custom HTML**: Adds a block with your own code.
## Turn sections on or off
Most sections have a switch on the right. Turn it on to show the section in your cart, or turn it off to hide it. **Header**, **Cart items**, and **Buttons** have no switch, because they're always shown.
Click a section's name to open its settings. In **Body** and **Footer**, drag a section by its handle to change its place in the cart.
## The live preview
The live preview on the right shows your cart as you build it. Every change appears right away.
|| In the live preview, the accelerated checkout buttons are placeholders. Shoppers see the payment methods turned on in your Shopify settings.
## Check the result
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
