# Keep your cart one click away with Sticky cart

**Sticky cart** adds a floating cart button to your store. Go to **Cart** tab > **Sticky cart**, turn on the **Sticky cart** toggle, then choose how the button looks.
The button stays on the screen while shoppers browse, so the cart is always one click away. Let's set it up.
## Turn on Sticky cart
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Turn on the **Sticky cart** toggle, then click **Sticky cart**.
4. In the **Sticky cart** area, click a style: **Icon only** (the default) or **Icon and text**, which adds the word "Cart."
## Choose the icon and counter
1. In the **Icon** area, click one of the 8 icons.
2. Optional: Click **Upload custom icon** to use your own icon.
3. Under **Color** and **Size**, change the icon's color and size.
4. In the **Counter** area, turn on the **Counter** toggle to show the number of items in the cart.
5. Under **Color**, choose the counter's color.
## Choose where the button appears
These options are under **More options**, except **Offset** and **Hide when cart is empty**.
* **Offset**: Use **Horizontal** and **Vertical** to move the button away from the edge of the screen.
* **Show on devices**: Choose **All devices**, **Desktop**, or **Mobile**.
* **Desktop position** and **Mobile position**: Choose a corner for each device, for example **Bottom right**.
* **Size**: Makes the whole button bigger or smaller.
* **Roundness**: Changes how round the button's corners are. Click **Use global** to match the rest of your cart.
* **Hide when cart is empty**: Select it to hide the button until a shopper adds a product.
## Sticky cart, Floating cart, and the Floating template
These three sound alike, but they do different things:
* **Sticky cart**: A cart button that stays on the screen while shoppers browse. It has its own settings, described above.
* **Floating cart**: A checkbox in **Style** > **Layout** that makes the cart drawer itself float.
* **Floating** template: A ready-made design in **Style** > **Template**.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. It shows the button on a blank page, with the counter if it's on.
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
