# Match your cart colors to your store

You can change all the main colors of your cart in one place. Go to **Cart** tab > **Style** > **Colors**, then choose a palette, a theme, and your colors.
Colors that match your store make the cart feel like part of your brand. Let's set them up.
## Choose a palette
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Click **Style**.
4. In the **Colors** area, click one of the presets under **Palette**: **Ink**, **Ocean**, **Forest**, **Violet**, or **Clay**.
A palette changes several colors at once. It's the fastest way to start. **Ink** is the default.
To build a palette from your brand color, click **Create a custom palette from one colour**.
## Choose a light or dark theme
Under **Theme**, choose **Light** or **Dark**.
## Change each color
Click a color under one of these labels to change it:
* **Primary**: Your main color.
* **Secondary**: Your second color.
* **Text**: The color of the text in your cart.
* **Background**: The background color of your cart.
* **Overlay**: The color that covers your store page behind the open cart.
| Make sure your **Text** color stands out against your **Background** color, so shoppers can read it easily.
Some sections also have their own color settings. For example, you can change the color of the **Sale badge** in **Cart items**.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. The cart shows your new colors right away.
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
