# Reward shoppers as their cart grows

You can show a progress bar in your cart that unlocks rewards as shoppers add more. Go to **Cart** tab > **Body** > **Rewards**, turn on the **Rewards** toggle, then set up your tiers.
A clear goal encourages shoppers to add one more product. For example: "Spend $25.00 more for 10% off." Let's set it up.
## Set up your tiers
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Under **Body**, turn on the **Rewards** toggle, then click **Rewards**.
4. In the **Tiers** area, under **Unlock rewards by**, choose **Cart total** or **Products quantity**.
* **Cart total**: Shoppers unlock a reward when their cart reaches an amount.
* **Products quantity**: Shoppers unlock a reward when they add a number of products.
Each tier has a **Reward type**: **Free shipping**, **Discount**, or **Free product**, and a **Min. price** shoppers need to reach. Click **Add tier** to add a tier. To delete a tier, click the trash icon next to it.
|| The progress messages use variables, for example "Spend {{remaining_amount}} more for {{discount}} off." Keep the variables when you translate them with **Translate** in the top bar.
## Choose how the progress bar looks
1. In the **Template** area, click **Minimal**, **Milestones**, **Icons**, or **Tags**.
2. In the **Style** area, choose colors under **Progress** and **Icons**, and use **Size** to change the icon size.
## Celebrate when shoppers unlock rewards
In the **Settings** area:
1. In **Heading after unlock all rewards**, enter the message for when shoppers unlock every reward, for example "All rewards unlocked!"
2. Optional: Select **Show confetti after unlock reward**, then choose when it appears, for example **After final reward**.
3. Optional: Select **Exclude products from being counted** to leave some products out of the goal.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. Move the **Test progress** slider in **Settings** to see the bar at different points. It only changes the preview. The progress bar appears above the products, with a message such as "Spend $25.00 more for 10% off."
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
