# Show savings and the subtotal in your cart

You can show shoppers how much they save and their subtotal at the bottom of the cart. Go to **Cart** tab > **Footer** > **Summary**, then turn on the **Summary** toggle.
Seeing their savings helps shoppers feel good about their order. For example: "Savings -$20.00." Let's set it up.
## Show the savings row
1. In your Shopify admin, open **Adoric Cart**, then click your cart in the **Carts** list.
2. At the top of the left panel, click the **Cart** tab.
3. Under **Footer**, turn on the **Summary** toggle, then click **Summary**.
4. In the **Discounts row** area, turn on the **Discounts row** toggle.
5. In **Title**, enter the row's name, for example "Savings."
## Choose what the savings row shows
1. Select **Show discount badges**. Each discount code shoppers apply appears as a badge, for example "BFCM10."
2. Optional: Change the badge's **Background**, **Border**, **Roundness**, and **Text**.
3. Optional: Select **Count compare-at savings** to include savings from compare-at prices in the row.
4. Under **Price**, change the size, weight, and color of the savings amount.
## Change the subtotal row
1. In the **Subtotal** area, enter the row's name, for example "Subtotal."
2. Under **Price**, change the size, weight, and color of the subtotal amount.
## Check the result
Look at the live preview on the right of the cart editor. The footer shows the **Savings** row with its badges, then the **Subtotal** row. The subtotal shows the total before savings crossed out, next to the new total. For example: $111.00 and $96.00.
When you're happy with it, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
