# What is Adoric Cart?

Adoric Cart is a Shopify app that replaces your theme's cart with a cart you can fully customize. You don't need any code, and it works on desktop and mobile. Adoric Cart is free.
Let's look at what it can do for your store. Your new cart slides out from the side of the page. Some apps call this a cart drawer.
## Make the cart match your brand
You design every part of the cart in the cart editor. You choose the template, colors, fonts, and layout. You also decide what each section shows.
## Main features
* **Announcement**: Shows a message at the top of the cart, with an optional countdown timer.
* **Banner**: Adds an image to the cart, with an optional link.
* **Rewards**: Shows a progress bar that unlocks rewards, such as free shipping or a discount.
* **Product upsell** and **Side product upsell**: Show recommended products in the cart or beside it.
* **Trust badges**: Reassure shoppers with short messages, such as "Secure checkout."
* **Shipping protection**: Offers an optional shipping protection item.
* **Discounts** and **Order notes**: Let shoppers enter a discount code or add a note to their order.
* **Accelerated checkout** and **Payment icons**: Show express checkout buttons and the payment methods you accept.
* **Sticky cart**: Shows a floating cart button, so the cart is always one click away.
* **Add custom HTML**: Adds your own code, or a ready-made block from the **Library**.
## Tools for every store
* **Analytics**: Shows your cart revenue, views, converted carts, and the revenue from each widget.
* **Translate**: Shows your cart text in other languages.
* **Market**: Previews your cart for each Shopify Market.
* **Create A/B test**: Creates versions **A** and **B** of your cart, so you can compare them.
## Start building your cart
The **Get started with Adoric** checklist on the Adoric Cart home page walks you through 3 tasks:
1. **Enable app embed**: Turn on the Adoric Cart app embed in your theme. Your cart works only after you do this.
2. **Enable and customize cart**: Click **Customize cart** to design your cart in the cart editor.
3. **Cart compatibility check**: Click **Complete check for free** and our team checks that your cart works with your theme.
When you're happy with your cart, click **Save** in the top bar. To show the cart to shoppers, turn on the **Cart status** switch in the top bar, so the cart shows **Active**.
