If your 1-click post-purchase offer isn't showing up, several common reasons could explain why. Below are the most frequent causes and solutions to help you troubleshoot the issue:
Common Reasons Your Offer May Not Appear
- Unsupported Payment Methods
The customer may have used an unsupported payment method such as an installment service or wallet service. These include:
- Klarna, Sezzle, Affirm, AfterPay
- Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Google Pay

- Multi-Currency Settings
If your store has multi-currency enabled and the order was made in a currency other than your primary "store currency", post-purchase offers may not display.
- PayPal Automatic Payments Not Enabled
If the order was placed using PayPal, check if your store is approved for PayPal Automatic Payments. Without this approval, post-purchase offers won’t be displayed. Learn how to check your status in our PayPal Automatic Payments guide.
- Adoric Not Enabled as Post-Purchase Page App
Ensure that Adoric Post Purchase is enabled as the post-purchase page app in your Shopify Checkout settings. Without this, offers won’t appear.
- Payment Using Gift Card, Cash on Delivery (COD), or $0 Orders
Orders paid entirely with a gift card, via cash on delivery, or orders totaling $0 (free) will not trigger post-purchase offers.
- Subscription Products
If the original order contains a subscription product and the upsell product is also a subscription, the post-purchase offer may not be displayed.
- Out-of-Stock Products
If the upsell product has inventory tracking enabled and the stock is zero or less, the post-purchase offer won’t appear.
- Local Delivery Orders
Orders that are for local delivery may not display post-purchase upsell offers.
- Shopify Platform Load
Occasionally, the Shopify platform may experience high traffic or heavy load, which can affect the display of post-purchase offers.
