Triggers

Find out what triggers you can use to show your campaign

1. Time frame
Show your campaign after X seconds on site.

2. Page scroll
Show your campaign after a user scrolls X pixels/percentage of an entire page

3. Exit intent
Show your campaign when a user tries to exit your site.

On the desktop device, Exit intent means that his mouse was going to the close button of the tab or the browser. You can choose the second radio button to show the campaign on exit intent but only if the user visit the site for more than X seconds.

Choose the checkbox to wait X seconds before showing the campaign.
This option allows you to be more strict about mouse sensitivity.

On mobile, exit intent can be active in two ways. The first is when a user scrolls down and up fast. The second is when the user clicks the back button on his mobile device until he gets into the previous site he visited (the source page).

4. Mouse
Show your campaign when a user clicks on a specific element in your website.
You have the option to select a selector via our CSS selector scanner (click on select).

We also offer the possibility to show the campaign when a user hovers or is out of a specific element (these options are available only in Desktop)

5. Event
Show your campaign when an event is triggered.
Create an event on GTM and add this syntax 'adoric.trigger('trigger name')', and on the empty bar insert your event's name.

If you connected to Google analytics account to Adoric (read the article here) you will also see your GA events and you can trigger your campaigns by them.
