Audience options

Selecting your campaign's audience



In the editor, click the 'Audience' tab on the top bar. You can choose to show your campaign to all of your website's visitors, or you can target a specific type of user. 




You can segment your audience by choosing one or more conditions from the list below:


*Devices
You can choose both, Dekstop, or Mobile.

Visitors types
You can select to show your campaign to 'New visitors' or 'Returning visitors'.
Adoric's algorithm can identify the visitor's type from the moment Adoric's code was implemented.



3.. Traffic sources 
You can segment and target your audience by choosing specific traffic sources, select sources as referral URL, referral query, direct, organic, paid, social or email.



Browsers
Select on which browsers your campaign will be shown. Our options include Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge and Internet Explorer.


Operating systems
Select on which type of operating systems your campaign will be shown, our options include Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Chrome OS. You can also choose the operating system for mobile.

Geo locations
Target your users by selecting geolocations, you can show different campaigns to users who live in different locations around the globe.




Languages
Target your users by selecting their browser's language, you can show different campaigns to users who speak different languages.





Events conditions
Using 'events conditions', allows you to target your audience by different types of users' behaviors. In order to segment your users this way, create an event on GTM using the syntax 'adoric.trigger('trigger name')', and on the empty bar insert your event's name.

i.e you can fire an event from tag manager whenever a signed up user is arriving on your website, this way you can segment your signed up users from the users who didn't sign up and suggest them with different offers and messages.





JS conditions
Select JavaScript conditions users must qualify to see your web message.
You can choose to segment by JS variable, cookies, local storage and session storage paremeters.


Users behavior conditions
Select behavior users must qualify to see your web message. Segment your users by actions they applied to previous pop-up campaigns.

i.e a user saw/clicked/closed a campaign running on your website, you can decide to show or exclude him from the campaign you are currently working on.




HTML conditions
Using this option means that once a CSS selector exists on the webpage, your campaign will be shown. You can choose what would be the value of the selector (number or text).



| TIP: you can show a web message to users who left items in their cart and motivate them by using a coupon to complete their purchase.

URL conditions
Segment your users by their activity on the website, you can select specific URL that users
had to go through in order to see your web message.
